Furthermore, a smooth, dense surface achieved through sanding can reduce moisture and dirt absorption, lowering the risk of mold growth.

More importantly, proper protective measures during use are crucial. When applying Populus Eucalyptus Board in humid areas, avoid direct contact with water sources or long-term exposure to high humidity air. For furniture or interior decoration, edge sealing is recommended; use edge banding or veneer to cover exposed edges, preventing moisture from rapidly penetrating. Applying paint, varnish, or wood wax not only enhances aesthetics but also creates a protective layer, shielding the wood from moisture. Maintaining good ventilation and using a dehumidifier can effectively reduce ambient humidity, further minimizing the risk of moisture damage.

For temporary storage, store the boards in a dry, elevated, well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct contact with walls or the floor. For outdoor or semi-outdoor applications, such as under a roof overhang or for balcony decoration, choose specially treated, moisture-resistant types or apply additional surface treatments.

Ultimately, populus eucalyptus board is not a "forbidden area" in humid areas, but a material that needs to be treated rationally. While it's not completely waterproof, with proper material selection, construction techniques, and maintenance, it can perform reliably in high-humidity environments. The key lies in understanding the natural properties of wood—not treating it as a static, unchanging material, but rather guiding its interaction with the environment.
